Commanditaire Vennootschap (CV) is a business entity formed by two or more members, without a minimum capital requirement.
A CV must have at least one general partner (Komplementer) who has unlimited liability for the business’s debts and obligations, and one or more limited partners (Komanditer) whose liability is limited to the capital they contribute.
CVs offer tax flexibility because they are not subject to corporate income tax. Instead, profits and losses are attributed to the partners and taxed at their individual income tax rates.

Important requirement to establish a Commanditaire Vennootschap (CV):
- Founder must have a notarial deed in Indonesian language
- Founder must be of Indonesian nationality
- No foreign investors allowed.
- Photocopies of e-ID cards and Family Cards (KK) from active and passive partners,
- Photocopies of Tax Identification Numbers (NPWP) from active and passive partners,
- Photocopy of proof of ownership of business premises (if any), or proof of rental of business premises, or similar documents,
- Building Construction Permit (IMB), if the building is owned,
- Photos of the business location both outside and inside.
